Garhi Khuda Baksh:Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Thursday that Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his historic address renewed the pledge that the party will continue mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
Talking to media here after the conclusion of the PPP rally at mausoleum of PPP Shuhada to commemorate martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, he said that Bilawal has challenged the terrorists and extremist elements like his mother and gave them a clear message that the PPP will continue its fight against that
mindset.He said that the rally was historic and the attendance was overwhelming as the workers come to pay tributes to party’s Shuhada.
About the address of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said that in speech there was glimpse of both Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and a “Jiyala” of the party.
The minister said that during past four and a half years the PPP has tried to strengthen the federation by restoring the Constitution and devolving powers to the provinces but still a lot was needed to be done.
Kaira said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has only demanded from the superior courts to take up reference filed on judicial murder of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and expedite the trial of accused involved in assassination of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.”His speech also reflected the sentiments of the party workers who want that the killers of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto should be brought to justice as soon as possible and injustice done to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali should be rectified”, he added.
To a question, he said that leaders are born and nobody can install or launch anyone as political leader. He said that Bilawal was a born leader like his mother and grand father, and now he has joined practical politics after completion of his studies.
Kaira said that Bilawal in his speech touched all challenges being faced by the country and the entire region.He said that Bilawal also gave the message that the PPP wants to take all political forces along in making the country a true democratic state.
