Lahore: Jamaat e Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch has said the JI election manifesto guaranteed an educational revolution in the country.
In a statement here on Sunday, he said the youth constituted 60 per cent of the country’s total population. The JI on coming into power, would set up separate Youth department at provincial level. Soft, interest free loans would be granted to the talented young men for higher studies and research. Jobs would be guaranteed for the youth .
The JI leader said it was a pity that we had been unable to provide primary education to the 64 per cent of the population, while during the last ten years of so called war on terror, more than seven million children had remained off the schools. The Pakistani’s he said, were one of the most talented nation in the world, however, higher education facilities remained most costly and limited. The government schools and colleges were the centers of corruption and mismanagement.
