India cant be favourite for Pakistanis:Munawar Hassan

Lahore: , has said that India, the killer of millions of Muslims, could never be the most favourite nation for Pakistan nor would it ever accept this country from the core of its heart.

He said the rulers who had given the MFN status to India were deceiving themselves and the nation both.

In a statement in connection with the Defa e Pakistan Council’s protest against MFN status to India, the JI Ameer said that the rulers had taken this decision under the US pressure after completely ignoring New Delhi’s role in the break up of Pakistan, the genocide of the Kashmiri men, women and children at the hands of Indian troops, New Delhi’s involvement in Balochistan and its theft of Pakistan’s share of river waters in a bid to turn this country into a desert.

He said that India was a serpent which could not take pity on any one. and it could never be a well-wisher of this country. India in fact wanted to promote its trade with Pakistan besides ruining our industry and agriculture.

The JI Ameer pointed out that the Father of the Nation, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who had once been a strong supporter of Muslim Hindu unity, was also forced to bid farewell to the Indian National Congress as he realized that the Hindus were not ready to give equal status to the Muslims.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that not to speak of the Muslims, the other minorities in India were also not safe, and even the churches of the Christians were being set on fire which reflected the extremism of the Hindus.

He said the rulers would be putting the country’s existence at stake by giving MFN status to India.
