Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said if the students want the continuity of the laptop scheme,funds for education and the tours of foreign countries than they must out for the support of PML-N.He was talking to the students of different boards of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtonkhawa, Balochistan and Azad Kashmir,here at Alhamra cultural complex.
The Chief Minister proudly counted the steps that were taken for students by the Punjab Government and asked “if you people want to get these benefits,than you must vote for PML-N”.He said PML-Nwants to serve more effectively the nation and the youth and depending upon their support in the forth coming election.We can only be able serve and continue the pro-youth polices if we win the election,he maintained.
Meanwhile,Position holder student in intermediate examination from Gilgit-Baltistan Amjad Hussain gave Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif the title of ‘Sir Syed Ahmed Khan of the present era’ and said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is playing the same role today as was played by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan for the promotion of education in the subcontinent. Position holder girl student from Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa while addressing on the occasion, said that she is thankful to Punjab government and the people of Punjab who encouraged position holders and invited them to the ceremony. Position holder from Balochistan Saad Muhammad Babar thanked Shahbaz Sharif for arranging a beautiful ceremony for the students. Position holder from Azad Kashmir, Sohaib Ahmed said that poverty, ignorance and extremism are the major issues of Pakistan which can be overcome through promotion of education.
