Lahore: Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Balcoh has said the JI while coming into power will stabilize country’s economy on priority level and relief the masses by abolishing the additional .
While talking to public delegations at his residence, he said the JI would abolish poverty and bring prosperity to the middle and lower middle class through its manifesto.
He said the JI would put an end to the GST and lessen the indirect taxes at its minimum level and reduce the price on daily kitchen items up to twenty and thirty per cent on gas and electricity tariff, he added.
Liaqat Baloch said a commission would be set up to determine the petroleum price and all the unnecessary tax would be removed. “The commission will be comprised of Parliament members, stake holders and the representatives of the consumers,” he added.
He said the JI having come into power enact laws with regard to increase in salary of the workers in accordance with the inflation rate in the country.
He regretted that due to gas load shedding hundreds of factories had been closed which had worsen the unemployment in the country.
He appealed to the masses to set aside the corrupt leaders in upcoming general elections.
