JI sees foreign hand in Jamrood blast

Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan,
and JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, have condemned the bomb blast at Jamrood, and termed it an activity of enemies of Islam and Pakistan.

In a joint statement here, they said that the attack at the Peshawar air port was similar to the one at the Mehran air base, and clearly showed the enemy designs to have access to the country’s most sensitive places and to cause maximum damage.

The JI leaders said, they had been repeatedly saying that anti- Islam and international forces were behind the terrorist activities in the country, but unfortunately, the US slaves ruling the country did not pay heed to them, and instead always put the blame on the Taliban. However, he said, the carving on the body of one of the terrorists killed by the forces at Peshawar airport vindicated the JI stance because the Taliban never had such satanic carving on their bodies.

The JI Ameer said that had the authorities not released the US embassy vehicle, loaded with arms and ammunition seized near the Peshawar Motorway exchange some time back and the armed Americans traveling therein, proper investigation had been carried out from them, many such terrorist attacks could have been averted. However, he said that the rulers were not ready to listen anything against their masters in Washington. This was evident from the way CIA agent Raymond Davis, the killer of two innocent citizens, was whisked out of the country in violation of all norms and laws.

The JI leaders prayed for those killed in the Jamrood attack and for the quick recover of the injured.
