Punjab Govt corruption has also been confirmed by Auditor General:Ch Parvaiz Elahi y meeting

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi while commenting on Chairman NAB Admiral (R) Syed Faish Bokhari’s statement about 65 % corruption in Punjab Government and departments has said that earlier on Auditor General of Pakistan has confirmed corruption in the province.

Addressing a meeting of the party leaders and office-bearers at his residence here today that besides flop schemes whatever plan or programme was made during the five year by the “Khadam-e-A’ala”, its first and foremost objective was loot and plunder and corruption of trillions of rupees has already surfaced. He question can he name any scheme including Sasti Roti Scheme. Food Support Programme, Green Tractors Scheme, Black & Yellow Cabs Scheme and Ashiana Housing Scheme in which billions of rupees have not been looted and plundered, he has broken his own records of corruption in every purchase even at the Govt Procurement Centres in the procurement of wheat from the farmers. He said besides these schemes of loot and plunder, billions of rupees corruption has also been committed not only in by demolishing new bridges and roads constructed during our tenure but also in newly-constructed roads, over-head bridges etc have been broken again and again and reconstructed during his own regime.

Ch Parvez Elahi said amidst chanting of slogans of “shame, shame” by those present that the seller of precious assets of Punjab by way of their corruption, loot and plunder have rendered surplus and prosperous Punjab of our tenure bankrupt.
