Pervaiz Elahi should respect independent ECP:Rana Sana

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Law, Rana Sanaullah has said that the Deputy Prime Minister Ch. Pervaiz Elahi, by not accepting the results of bye-elections has, in fact, expressed no confidence in independent, autonomous, impartial and unanimous Election Commission of Pakistan which is a part of conspiracy to make the results of general elections doubtful.

Commenting upon the speech of Pervaiz Elahi in a public meeting, Rana Sanaullah said that an independent and autonomous Election Commission also does not suit Chaudhary Brothers as they are in the habit of contesting elections by constituting election commission of their own choice. He said that the result of first bye-election held under unanimous and impartial election commission has exposed the popularity of Chaudhary Brothers in Gujrat.

Rana Sanaullah said that if Chaudhary Brothers analyze their politics, they will not see any “achievement” except killing of innocent children at Lal Masjid, claims of electing ten times a dictator in uniform and the loot and plunder committed by them. He said that Pervaiz Elahi is Deputy Prime Minister of which country as he is himself criticizing Election Commission and the administration. Rana Sanaullah asked Pervaiz Elahi that what message he wants to convey to the people of Pakistan and the entire world by criticizing national institutions. He said that the allegations of rigging by Ch. Pervaiz Elahi are so baseless that election commission has not taken any notice of it. He said that if Pervaiz Elahi is fond of carrying out survey, then he should see the report of renowned international institution Transparency International conducted by it recently which shows the high level of corruption in federal government and transparency of Punjab government of PML-N.

Rana Sanaullah said that the results of bye-elections have perturbed the opportunists and the gang involved in loot and plunder like Chaudhary Brothers and they have become nervous on the success of N-League. He said that Ch. Pervaiz Elahi and his allies instead of raising hue and cry over the humiliating defeat in the bye-elections should first see their worst performance during the last four and a half years. He said that the general elections will prove to be the last nail in the political coffin of Chaudhary Brothers and the corrupt federal government as the reality of their artificial alliance has been fully exposed to the people.
