Sargodha: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that creation of Pakistan is the result of sacrifices of saints, ulema and true Muslims. He said that the country cannot be made a welfare state without following the teachings of Quran and Sunnah. He said that Pakistan will live forever with the blessings of saints.
He was addressing the concluding ceremony of the Urs of Pir Karam Shah at Bhera today. Pir Ameen ul Hassnat, Pir Farooq Baha-ul-Haq Shah and a large number of devotees were present on the occasion. Shahbaz Sharif said that the people of Europe have removed the difference of poor and rich by following the Charter of Madina and ruling pattern of Caliphs but today Muslims are facing sectarianism, prejudices and grouping. He said that Pir Karam Shah was a true saint and his son Amin ul Hassnat who is following teaching of his father is also a true saint, therefore, we should follow him.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the rulers looted the national resources ruthlessly during previous government and this loot and plunder is still continuing. He said that the palaces of the rulers are full of lights whereas, common man has been pushed into darkness. He said that the children of judges, police officers and feudal are getting high education whereas the child of the poor is forced to sit on floor. He said that due to economic injustices, rich is becoming richer and the poor is becoming poorer. Shahbaz Sharif said if we have to make Pakistan a true welfare state, the country will have to rid of Zar Baba Forty Thieves. The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the area to convince Pir Amin ul Hassnat to contest election on PML-N ticket in NA-64.
