DIG Rai Altaf Hussain elected President of Touch Ball Federation

Lahore:Pakistan Touch Ball Federation held 8th General Council Meeting on eight point agenda including elections for different seats of federation according to its newly approved Constitution.

According to the results of the election for different seats of Pakistan Touch Ball Federation, Riaz Fatyan was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Federation while DIG National Highways & Motorway Police Rai Altaf Hussain was elected as President of the Federation. Similarly, Brigadier Farooq was elected as Vice President and Zahoor Ahmad as Secretary of the Federation. Touch Ball Team of NH&MP was given affiliation with the Pakistan Touch Ball Federation along with Pakistan Police, Pakistan Railways, Pakistan Steels, Higher Eduction Commission, four Provinces, Islamabad and Gilgit Baltistan. The Federation also issued its Sports Calendar 2013 to hold Inter-department competitions, Junior National Championship, Inter-provinces competitions, NH&MP Gold Cup and other activities.

Talking to Media persons DIG Rai Altaf Hussain, President Pakistan Touch Ball Association, showed his commitment that all out efforts will be made to make this newly introduced game popular at every corner of the country.
