Lahore: Punjab government has allotted houses in Aashiyana Quaid Housing scheme to 46 such persons whose applications had earlier been rejected due to various reasons and the applicants had removed these objections through an appeal. A ceremony was held which was presided over by Chairman Board of Director Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC) Sheikh Allauddin in which houses were allotted to 46 lucky persons through computerize balloting. The Chief Executive Officer PLDC Tahir Khurshid and a large number of applicants attended the function.
Sheikh Allauddin informed that the applications of these 46 applicants had been rejected due to some reasons. Later they filed an appeal to PLDC and after removal of objections, they have been allotted houses through computerized balloting. He said that Aashiyana Quaid Housing scheme was such a dream of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif which is before us in a practical shape. He said that Aashiyana Quaid Housing scheme comprising a spacious park, playground, school and wide roads are the clear proof of the vision of Chief Minister Punjab to provide houses to low-income people.
