Nawaz Sharif saddened over the death of Inder Kumar Gujral

Lahore: Former Prime Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has expressed his shock and distress at the passing away of the former Indian Prime Minister,Inder Kumar Gujral.

The former Prime Minister described Gujral not only as an outstanding political leader, but also as an accomplished diplomat and a man of letters. Nawaz Sharif recalled that he had found Gujral well-disposed towards Pakistan and was happy to have established warm and friendly relations with him. He conveyed his deep condolences to the people and Government of India, as well as to the family of the late Prime Minister, on the loss of a great humanist.
