Nawaz Sharif felicitates the Palestinian for having status of UN non-member state

Lahore: President Pakistan Muslim League-N, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the Palestinian people over having been granted the status of non-member state by the United Nations.

In his felicitation message, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that the approval of resolution in United Nations to grant non-member state status to Palestine, with a thumping majority, is a significant step toward independence and self autonomy of people of Palestine. He said the people of Palestine have borne indescribable pain, and given innumerable sacrifices, to achieve their independence, for the last six decades. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that people of Pakistan are proud of their vigorous and complete support to the just struggle of independence of Palestinian people and this support would always continue to be the basic principle of our national policy. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said, now it is the duty of international community to ensure complete implementation of the resolution passed by United Nations Security Council regarding an independent and autonomous Palestine, so that the long-suffering people of Palestine can, eventually, achieve their independence, and live their lives in honour and dignity.
