No one would be able to block the way of grand alliance:PML-Q

Lahore:Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has quite emphatically stated that the main objective behind alliance with Pakistan Peoples’ Party, Sunni Ittehad Council and other political and religious parties is only for serving the nation and the country, solving the problems of the people and transforming Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state.

He said this while talking to a PML delegation from Samundari Faisalabad leaders, former parliamentarians, nazims and naib nazims and notables which called on his at his residence here today. Delegation included MPA Sardar Dildar Cheema, former MPA Ch Khalid Mahmud, Ch Ghulam Nabi, Ch Niaz Ahmad, Ch Abid Sindhu, Ch Nadeem Arshad, Ch Tariq, Ch Bakhtiar Saud, Ch Ghulam Ahmad, Ch Afzal Bhutta, Khalid Nambardar, Ch Muhammad Din, Ch Faiz Rasool, Mudassar Mushtaq, Rana Noor Mudassar among others.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that we will try to include into our alliance national thinking forces of the four provinces to form the grand alliance and those doing negative politics will not be able to block the way in the elections of this grand alliance including political and religious parties having positive and national thinking
He said selection of candidates for every constituency of the National and Provincial Assemblies will be done through mutual consultations and after due deliberations. He said the service to the people of the Punjab rendered by us during our tenure as the Chief Minister is before everyone, people are quite aware of this and people of the four provinces, Insha-Allah, will pay us back for this in the next elections because those who had promised to bring down prices at 1999 level have been fully exposed and people are not ready now to believe in what they are saying
