He said anti-nation and anti-Islamic forces are trying to weaken Pakistan by creating law and order situation, but ulema from all schools of thought and people should foil these conspiracies through their unity. He expressed these views while presiding over Ittehad Bain-ul-Muslimeen meeting held at Commissioner Office at Dera Gahzi Khan. He said ulema and Zakreen should avoid provocative speeches during Moharram-ul-Haram and respect the beliefs, ideologies and religious places of all religions and sects. He said we would have to create unity among our ranks in order to maintain peace in the country. Maulana Abu Al-Khabir Azad said that Punjab government is working day and night to maintain law and order however we would have also work together to achieve the required objectives.

Punjab Agriculture Minister and Divisional Incharge Moharram Committee, Malik Ahmed Ali said that Punjab government is aware of its responsibilities, and foolproof security arrangements for Moharram-ul-Haram have been ensured by implementing the suggestions of ulema and the people. He called upon the people to uncover those elements who are disturbing law and order in the country. Malik Ahmed Ali said that Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has activated peace committees at thana, tehsil, district, division and provincial-levels to maintain religious harmony in the province.

Commissioner DG Khan said that the peace committees are visiting every area of the province, which is producing positive results. RPO said best arrangements for security of Majalis and processions have been made. The meeting of Ittehad Bain-ul-Muslimeen was also addressed by Coordinator PNL-N Habib Ullah Bhatti and other members of the peace committee.

The Provincial Minister inspected the places of processions and Majalis of Moharram-ul-Haram at Muzaffargarh, Khanghar, and Alipur. Talking on the occasion, Shia leader Kazim Ali Haideri said that complete cooperation is being extended to them by tehsil administration, police and TMA. The Provincial Minister Agriculture also reviewed security arrangements at the routes of Sadar Bazaar and Masjid Ahle Hadees Road at Rajanpur.
