Lahore: Senior Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa today visited Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Hospital Rawalpindi and inquired after the injured of Dhok Syedan. He announced financial assistance of five lakh rupees each for the heirs of those who lost their lives in Dhok Syedan incident on behalf of Punjab Chief Minister. He also announced financial assistance of Rs.75000 for every serious injured and Rs.25000 for each minor injured. He directed the hospital administration to provide best medical treatment to the injured. He prayed for the departed souls and early recovery of injured persons.
Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that the terrorists are bent upon to disrupt the peace of the country. He said that they want to achieve nefarious designs by creating chaos and fanning sectarianism but such cowardly acts cannot demoralize us. He said that Punjab government has taken special measures for ensuring security and law and order during Muharram ul Harram. He said that coordinated efforts have been made in every district in accordance with the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He expressed the hope that the citizens will fulfill their responsibilities and cooperate with the government for maintaining law and order in the provicne.
