Guinness book record holder dedicates his achievement to Pakistani people

Lahore: Pakistan’s Guinness Book Record Holder of prepare three breads (chapatie’s ) has dedicated his achievement to people of his country.
“Pakistan has given me fame around the world and today people talk about my feast across the globe which has brought good name for my country,” he said here on Thursday.
Mansha, chief cook at Sport Board Punjab, hit the lime light by cooking three chapaties in record time of three minutes and 13 second on October 21st in the presence of Guinness book records adjudicator.
Before getting into the famous record book, tiny Mansha was living in wilderness and people hardly knew that he has the talent and potential to cook three chapaties in that short span of time.
His dedication came during a reception organsied by Children Hospital Pharmacy Department to honour Guinness World Record holder M Mansha who made the record of making 3 breads in three minutes and 14 seconds in the Punjab Youth Festival 2012.
Pakistan Hockey Olympian Chaudhry Akhtar Rasool was chief guest at the occasion while other notables were Prof Ghulam Rasool, Dr Nadeem Qureshi, Syed Murtaza and M Ameen.
“It was a very exciting experience which has given me a new identity and a lot of confidence and I am very thankful to Allah Almighty for giving me the strength to accomplish a task which was described ‘impossible’ by most of the people before my attempt,” he added.
Mansha said at the time when he was attempting the record he was under immense pressure and at one stage he had a fear deep inside him that he cannot do it but as soon as recited some verses from Holy Quran that fear vanished in air and he felt a new confidence in him and started preparing chapaties one after another with Guinness book adjudicator checking their quality to ensure that they are prepared well done.
“Thousands of people have sent me congratulatory messages not only from Pakistan but also from abroad and my name is in international media and websites and today I am known to everyone not only my country but also abroad,” said Mansha.
He expressed his special thanks to Chief organizer of the Punjab Youth Festival, Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan and Director Genera l, Sports Board Punjab for extending all out support in setting up a new mark.
