CM hosts dinner for foreign medical experts

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif hosted a dinner in honour of foreign medical experts attending International Dengue Conference at Hazoori Bagh, here today. Senior Advisor, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Special Assistant Kh. Salman Rafiq, MNA Pervez Malik, medical experts from Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Pakistani doctors, higher authorities and members of the civil society attended the dinner.

Talking on the occasion, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that by the grace of Allah Almighty and cooperation of masses, we have succeeded in controlling dengue virus and the war against dengue would continue till its complete eradication. He said that we have benefitted fully from the experience of medical experts from Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. On the occasion, the foreign medical experts paid rich tributes to Chief Minister Punjab for taking anti-dengue steps and said that Shahbaz Sharif and his team has converted impossible into possible in a short period of time. The male and female students from Punjab University presented a beautiful performance with regard to eradication of dengue. Renowned drummer, Pappu Saien won the hearts of foreign medical experts by his great performance.
