Lahore: Information and Culture Secretary Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani opened a four-day international cultural and handicrafts exhibition, and film festival at Al-Hamra Arts Council today.
Khana farhang Iran Director General Dr. Abbas Famuri, and representatives of Turkey, Iran and China were also present on the occasion. Stalls of historic and cultural art pieces, handicraft, and food have also been set up.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohyuddin Wani said that Punjab government was making efforts to improve ties with friendly countries. Such activities strengthen people to people contacts, besides promoting art and culture, he added. Visitors took keen interest in art pieces and handicraft displayed at the exhibition.
Cultural and historic movies of Pakistan, Turkey, Iran and China will also be screened. The exhibition and festival will conclude on November 12. The entry is free for the general public.
