Officers to keep themselves abreast with modern techniques in journalism:Wani

Lahore: Secretary Information and Culture Punjab, has said that the officers appointed in the Public Relations Department should keep themselves abreast with the new trends and modern techniques in journalism so that they could render better services for Punjab government.

He expressed these views at a luncheon hosted in the honor of newly appointed Information Officers at Civil Officers Mess GOR, here today. Director General Public Relations Athar Ali Khan and Director Administration Arshad Saeed were also present on the occasion. Secretary Information said that the officers should perform their duties with passion and honesty and sharpen their professional skills and capabilities in view of the importance of information technology and mass communication. He directed the officers to regularly study newspapers, magazines and books for gaining expertise in mass communication.
