Control board reviewed 48 drug cases

Lahore: A meeting of Provincial Quality Control Board Punjab was held today. Additional Secretary Health (Technical) Dr. Mohammad Anwar Janjua chaired the meeting. Total 48 cases of spurious, substandard and fake drugs have been considered in the meeting.

Out of which 10 cases were prosecuted and in 24 cases permission was granted for lodging FIRs while 8 cases adjourned for further investigation. Moreover, in six cases, on minor irregularities, warning was issued to the concerned persons.
