Lahore: Services of daily wagers and contract employees of the Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) have been regularized in compliance with the promise of Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi.
EPZA Chairman Muhammad Saadat Sadiq Cheema has distributed regular appointment letters among 161 employees.
Speaking on the occasion, the EPZA Chairman said that Ch Parvez Elahi during last visit to the EPZA had promised to regularize services of all daily wagers and contract employees which has been fulfilled today.
The EPZA Chairman felicitated the employees on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and also delivered his message that the employees would work hard with honesty and sincerity for the development of the institution because strengthening of institutions would mean strong and prosperous Pakistan and this is in the larger interest of us all.
EPZA Chairman Muhammad Saadat Sadiq Cheema reiterated his assurance that he would work for the well-being and welfare of the employees without any discrimination and all problems of the officers and employees of the institution would be solved on priority basis.
