Lahore: Chairman Punjab Sports Board, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has in the history of the world and registered the name of Pakistan in Guinness Book of World Records.
While addressing 24200 girl and boy students who made the biggest human flag in the shape of national flag in National Hockey Stadium, Hamza Shahabaz Sharif said that children have shamed those terming Pakistan as a failed state. He said Pakistani students have proved that no power of the world can defeat their spirit. He said that this is the same spirit which made atomic bomb for Pakistan, got recognized Pakistan as a sovereign country by Vajpay at Minar-e-Pakistan and also restored judiciary. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that today is a day of joy and success as the talented students of the nation by practically displaying the golden principles of faith, unity and discipline of Quaid-e-Azam, expressed their determination that they will make the motherland as a Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam. Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mashhood Ahmed, Provincial Minister for Education Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, DG Sports Board Usman Anwar, representative of Guinness Book of World Records and thousands of people were present on the occasion. The representative of Guinness Book of World Records gave a certificate of new record to Hamza Shahbaz.
It may be mentioned that five years ago the record of making biggest human flag of the world was set by 21726 persons in Hong Kong by preparing national flags of China and Hong Kong which has now been improved by Pakistan. Pakistan has registered its name in Guinness Book of World Records by setting ten new records during the last four days in the Youth Festival, continuing under the aegis of Punjab government.
