N-League should also get survey of the money takers:Ch Parvez Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that after the Supreme Court verdict in Asghar Khan case N-League should also get survey of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif done as to where the money-takers and parties are standing now?

He also said that survey should also be undertaken of development works launched in the Punjab during our tenure as the Chief Minister and of Shahbaz Sharif rule adding that people of Sialkot would take revenge from N-League of ending our various development projects including Motorway, Cadet College, Universities, and Cardiology Centre.

Ch Parvez Elahi said this while addressing PML Workers Convention at Kangra Road near Sabz Peer More in Sialkot today. The Convention was also addressed by Senator Kamil Ali Agha and Aleem Adil Shaikh. Ch Maqsood Ahmad, who was named as PML candidate from NA-114, presented the welcome address.

He said that N-League by getting fake surveys done wants to prove its majority among the people. He said if survey is conducted of the Supreme Court verdict in Asghar Khan Case then N-League would get nothing but bashfulness and shame. He questioned they are talking about honesty on what basis and added that we were also offered money but we declined the same with thanks.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that the people are fed up with the Sharif Brothers rule. He said with regrets that tehsil which we had given the status of barani tehsil, they have swallowed all its funds. He said we had approved a Cadet College at Pasrur and released its funds, upgraded more than 50 schools but Shahbaz Sharif govt did not bother to provide staff to these schools, we made education free and also distributed textbooks free, for the first time in the history of Pakistan fixed stipends for the children because we loved education and wanted to promote it. He said by distributing lap tops education is not promoted and by establishing Daanish Schools merely one do not get wisdom.

Continuing, Ch Parvez Elahi said that we had started Sialkot Motorway and two international universities were also to be established here but Shahbaz Sharif by scrapping the Motorway project not only deprived Sialkot, Gujrat, Wazirabad and Gujranwala of progress and development but also the universities were shifted from here to India. He said that we gave Sialkot the airport, 1122 Emergency Service, established local bodies and 65 thousand councilors were at the lower level were solving the problems of the people at their doorsteps but Shahbaz Sharif disbanded these local bodies and took their funds to Lahore. He said that Shahbaz Sharif’s Lahore is only from Jaati Umrah to Shahdara and he has started “Jangla Bus Service” at a cost of Rs 90 billion mainly to render Punjab bankrupt.

He said that in the next elections, PML and Peoples Party workers together would give N-League ‘s so-called khadims tough time and tell that their era was over and now peoples era is about to set in. Ch Parvez Elahi took the oath from the audience by raising their hands that we all would remain together and the money-takers in Asghar Khan Case would be made accountable.

Speaking on the occasion, Senator Kamil Ali Agha said that for taking money names of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif should be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) He said that today’s gathering is in fact a referendum and people are not with those who are doing dirty politics. He said that people have also exposed in Sialkot those who were doing dirty politics by putting their names plaques on the projects of Ch Parvez Elahi. He said that Pakistan Muslim League is gaining popularity and becoming strong in every nook and corner of the Punjab.

Aleem Adil Shaikh in his speech maintained that Pakistan Muslim League is the only party which believes in the philosophy of the Quaid-i-Azam, we salute the land of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and politics is not done by getting fake surveys, instituting false cases and harassment. He said politics is done by serving the people and Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi are serving the people and are carrying onwards the mission of Ch Zahoor Elahi Shaheed.

Seated on the stage in the convention were Bao Rizwan, Akram Masih Gill, Azeem Noori Gumman, Ansar Baryar, Mian Shahzad Tufail, Raja Ejaz Ahmad, Khalil Bhatti, Ch Muhammad Aslam, Ch Haq Nawaz Bhalli, Ch Khalid Basra, Ch Muhammad Yaqoob, Dr Tanveer Islam, Ali Asjad Malhi, Iqbal Bajwah, Ch Imtiaz Bajwah, Nasir Mahmud Gill and Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry among others. Office-bearers and workers of PML Youth, Minorities and Kissan Wings also fully participated in the convention.

Earlier on arrival, Ch Parvez Elahi was accorded a very warm and enthusiastic welcome in a colourful and memorable l manner. The entire route from Kangra to Sabz Peer More was decorated with huge portraits, posters and banners of Ch Shujat Hussain, Ch Parvez Elahi, Moonis Elahi and Ch Maqsood Ahmad. Ch Parvez Elahi and other leaders were profusely garlanded, birds were released and dancing horses in their own style welcomed Ch Parvez Elahi on arrival for the Convention.
