Punjab Food Authority starts working for pure edible items

Lahore: A spokesman of Food Department Punjab has said that Punjab Food Authority has starting working in district Lahore from July 02, 2012. Setting up of Punjab Food Authority reflects the determination of Punjab government for ensuring provision of pure and adulteration free edible items to the people, he added.

He said that Director General Food Authority will listen to the complaints regarding adulteration in edible items, substandard food and unhygienic condition on every Saturday from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on phone numbers 042-35778312, 042-35711490. Suggestions and complaints in this regard can also be registered on www.punjabodauthority.gov.pk.
