PG gives approval of Privatization of properties in Faisalabad, Okara, and Sialkot

Lahore: Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab and Senator, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, has granted approval to Punjab Privatization Board for selling government properties at Faisalabad, Okara, and Sialkot at a price of Rs. 24 crore, 68 lakh, 44 thousand, 739 and directed preparation of summary in this regard to be presented to Punjab Chief Minister.

This was decided in a meeting of Cabinet Committee set up to review privatization process in the province, here today. The meeting was attended by Provincial Excise & Taxation Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Chief Secretary Punjab Nasir Mahmood Khosa, Chairman Privatization Board Anwar Rasheed, Member Colonies Board of Revenue, representatives of Finance Department and other concerned officers. The approval of recommendations was granted during the meeting for the sale of more than 1 kanal,15 marla for Rs.19 crore 52 lakh, in Faisalabad, seven public properties of Tehsil Renala Khurd and 2 of Tehsil Depalpur of District Okara for two crore 66 lakh, 44 thousand, 739, and 1 government property in village Bumbanwala District Sialkot for two crore, 50 lakh rupees.

Senior Advisor also directed Punjab Privatization Board to increase the amount of security money at the time of submitting the bids from 5% to 15%.
