Pakistan was created in the name of Islam:Begum Kalsoom Nawaz

Lahore: Wife of President of PML-N Mian Nawaz Sharif, Ms. Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan was created in the name of Islam and urged upon the people to follow the golden principles of Islam in letter and spirit.

She said this while addressing annual prize distribution ceremony of “Idara-e-Taleem-e-Deen”, a subsidiary institution of Alhuda Welfare Organization Faisalabad at Faisalabad today. President PML-N Women Wing Begum Ishrat Ashraf, Muslim League Youth Wing leader Maryam Safdar, Advisor to CM Begum Zakia Shahnawaz, President PML-N Women Wing Lahore Begum Shaista Pervaiz, MNA Begum Khalida Mansoor, Muslim League women workers and the female students who studied Tafseer-e-Quran at Idara-e-Taleem-e-Deen attended the function.

In her presidential address, Begum Kalsoom Nawaz said that if we want to get a prominent and respectable position in the comity of nations, we will have to act upon the teachings of Holy Quran. She said that covering the head and wearing dupata is our identity. She said that we cannot earn blessings of Almighty Allah in this world and the world hereafter without understanding the Holy Quran. Begum Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif referred to the getting of knowledge from lap to grave as obligatory upon each Muslim man and woman said that how is it possible that our daughters remained deprived of religious and worldly knowledge. Begum Kalsoom Nawaz, congratulating the female students who completed the Tafseer-e-Quran course, said that Allah Almighty bestows His blessings upon those girls who get religious knowledge.

Aqsa Sajjad, Ayesha Arif and Sadaf Munir were given special prizes for obtaining first, second and third position respectively while certificates were also given to the female students getting prominent positions. Later, Begum Kalsoom Nawaz participated in the function of Alhuda Welfare High School and inaugurated the school at Kareem Town.
