Anti-dengue campaign is still in progress: Farah Deeba

Lahore: Member Dengue Control Response Committee Iqbal Town, Farah Deeba has said that anti-dengue campaign is in progress under a comprehensive strategy and all segments of society are participating in the drive. She said that maintenance of cleanliness at all public and private places is the only way to control dengue virus. She said that experiences of developed countries should also be kept in view in the efforts for dengue eradication.

Farah Deeba said that disposal of filth and dirty water is continuing in the town. She said that town administration is also conducting survey of tyre shops and warehouses and warnings have been issued on poor sanitary conditions. She said that dengue awareness campaign is continuing in schools and colleges while students are also conducting walks for promoting public awareness. She said that maintenance of cleanliness is essential as otherwise the desired results could not be achieved.
