Renowned writer Hajra Masroor dies

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the sad demise of renowned writer Hajra Masroor.

In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said that late Hajra Massoor was a trend setter writer, who has left indelible marks on Urdu literature. With her death a chapter of literature has been closed. Shahbaz Sharif prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
