Maneka group rejoins PML-Q after meeting CPE

Lahore: A delegation from Pakpattan called on Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi at their residence here today.

During the meeting, former MNA Ahmad Raza Maneka, Mian Farooq Maneka and Peer Muhammad Shah Khagga exchanged views with Ch Parvez Elahi about political situation in district Pakpattan, apprised him about problems of their constituencies and put forth suggestions for solution of the same. Strategy with regard to next general election was also deliberated.

On this occasion, Ch Parvez Elahi announced to give ticket for NA 165 to Mian Ahmad Raza Maneka, for NA 164 to Peer Muhammad Shah Khagga and PP-227 to Mian Farooq Maneka. He said that names of remaining candidates from district Pakpattan will also be announced shortly.
Reposing confidence in the leadership of Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi, Mian Ahmad Raza Maneka, Peer Muhammad Shah Khagga and Mian Farooq Naneka assured them that they would make concerted efforts for making the party active.

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Industries Muhammad Basharat Raja, PML Punjab General Secretary and Parliamentary leader in the Punjab Assembly Ch Zaheeruddin Khan, Javed Iqbal Khichi and Nasir Mahmud Gill were also present on the occasion.
