PMA condemns fake case against YDA Mayo Hospital

Lahore: It is a really a sad state of offairs that police instead of registering a case against the terrorist AMS Tariq Pistol on torturing the young doctors and bringing out guns on them has registered a case against the doctors of mayo hospital on the directions of the Mayo hospital’s Medical Superintendent. This is purely administrative terrorism.

These views were expressed by YDA office bearers bearers Dr. Rana Sohail, Dr. Salman Kazmi, Dr. Talha Sherwani, Dr. Ghulam Qasim, Dr. Murtaza Bloch, Dr. Muhammad Khawar Khan, Dr. Shahid Dreshik, Dr. Waqas Gondal, Dr. Shehzad, Dr. Asim, Dr. Shams, Dr. Muhammad Azhar and Dr. Muhammad Amjad. A protest demonstration will be held outside “Ghari Ward” at 10:30am on the matter.

Pakistan Medical Association Lahore’s spoke’s man in a press statement has condemned the fake case registered by the Mayo Hospital’s Administration against YDA office bearers and said that the administration was instigating the young doctors to go on protest.

PMA has called its emergent Executive Committee meeting on 15 September, 2012 at PMA House Lahore to decide further line of action in this regard.
