Rivers and hill torrents are flowing normal:DG PDMA

Lahore: Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Mujahid Sherdil has said that all the rivers and hill torrents are flowing normal in the province. He said that monsoon rains are expected during first ten days of September in different cities of the province. He said that water level at Turbella in River Sindh is 1541.4 feet while at Mangla 1182.7 feet.

Mujahid Sherdil said that as a result of yesterday’s monsoon rains, water level at Gawalmandi in Nullah Lai was 15 feet while the danger level is 20 feet. Similarly, the level of water rose to 20 feet at Katarian in Nullah Lai and danger level is 30 feet here. He said that yesterday at 11 am, the water level was reduced to low level at both the places. He said that administration is regularly monitoring all the rivers and nullahs in the province.
