Only 20cases of dengue has reported this year:IPH

Lahore: Statistics of previous year reflect that there were 25 thousand reported cases of dengue out of which there were 350 deaths,while this year only 20 cases have been reported with no deaths.This status indicate that government priorities,strategies of experts and awareness level of people are appropriate and powerful to combat dengue this year and dengue shall not shape epidemic this year.

This was observed by Dean ,Institute Of Public health in a public awareness seminar today at IPH in connection with Anti Dengue Day.Seminar was also addressed by Prof Dr Shahid Iqbal,Prof Dr Rabia and Dr Shahid Malik ,who high lighted various aspects of disease.Later a walk was conducted from birdword road to Jail Road and Pamphlets were delivered to public.
