Lahore: Secretary Workers Welfare Boards (wwb) Ali Bahadur Qazi has said that boys and Girls students can inform the society about preventive steps against dengue virus in a better way and last year positive results had been brought out after the participation of male and female students in the campaign against dengue fever. He said that all precautionary measures have been adopted in wwb schools and zero period have also been started. He said women can effectively organize and persuade the families regarding protective measures of dengue fever. He said that the students are apprising the people about spray and protective measures against dengue in individual and collective communication, whereas, worth mentioning point to the people is that dengue fever is a curable disease.
He expressed these views at an awareness seminars at wwb higher secondary school Nishter Colony and Shahdrah. MPA Ramzan Saddiq Bhatti, Rana Khalid Qadri, Rana Muhammad Naeem and college Principles also address on the occasion whereas, Dr. Yasir told the students about preventive measures against dengue virus/fever.
The speakers said that youngsters, NGOs and students should extend full cooperation to the government for avoiding dengue virus and join the ongoing campaign in this regard and the government was extending every possible cooperation to the public and private educational institutions also for holding seminars and walks in this regard. He said that students can inform the society about defensive measures against dengue virus in a better way and positive results had been brought out after the participation of students in the campaign against dengue fever, during last season.
