Punjab Govt announced entry test schedule

Lahore: On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, entry test for admission to all government and private medical and dental colleges in Punjab for the year 2012-13 to be held under University of Health Sciences will be held simultaneously on Sunday, September 23 at 20 locations in 12 cities of the province. More than 35 thousand candidates are expected to take the test and University of Health Sciences has made elaborate arrangements for this purpose.

According to Vice Chancellor of the University who is also chairman of the admission board, Professor I.A. Naveed, the entry test will be held in Bhawalpur, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan and Dera Ghazi Khan in South Punjab, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Gujrat, Gujranwala and Sargodha in Central Punjab and Rawalpindi and Hassan Abdal in Northern Punjab. He said that university administration has been making strenuous efforts for the holding of the test for the last two months in a successful manner. He said that the process of holding orientation seminars for the students and their parents has also been completed. He assured that in accordance with the policy of Punjab government, all arrangements have been completed for the conduct of entry test in a fair and transparent manner while cooperation of local administration and police will also be available in each district.
