Lahore: Chairman Dengue Response Committee Iqbal Town, Malik Saif-ul-Malook has said that anti-dengue campaign is continuing under a comprehensive strategy in which all segments of the society are taking active part. He said that cleanliness of all public and other places is necessary for checking dengue menace. He said that dengue larva cannot breed without finding conducive environment for its breeding. He said that we should also benefit from the experiences of the developed countries in this regard.

Malik Saif-ul-Malook said that town administration is disposing of heaps of garbage and destroying other breeding sites of dengue. He said that town administration is also conducting survey of the tyre shops and godowns and warnings have been issued for poor cleanliness arrangements. He said that dengue awareness campaign is continuing in schools and colleges while the students are creating awareness among the people through anti-dengue walks. He said that desired results could not be achieved without ensuring cleanliness in our homes, streets, mohallas and surroundings.
