Shaista Malik distributes Eid gifts to poor women

Lahore; Chief Mobilizer on Dengue awareness programme, Begum Shaista Parvez Malik has said that the real pleasure is achieved by helping the deserving and the destitute persons.

She was addressing a ceremony for distribution of at a welfare institution of Social Welfare Department, Darul Amaan, here today. District Social Welfare Officer Tanvir Ahmad, Incharge of the institution and others were present on the occasion. The Eid gifts included new clothes, shoes, bangles and mehndi etc. Begum Shaista Pervez Malik said that Eid gifts are distributed among inmates of all welfare institutions of social welfare department so that they could also celebrate Eid festivities. She stressed upon the philanthropists to utilize all their resources for social rehabilitation of hapless persons and service and gain real happiness.
