Korea-Pakistan Friendship Association delegation visits PBIT

Lahore: A four-member delegation of today. The delegation was led by Korean Ex-Ambassador to Pakistan Mr Shin-Un who met with Chief Executive Officer PBIT, Habib Ur Rehman Gilani and other senior officials.

Mr. Shin-Un said that Korea was interested in exporting products to Pakistan and looking to tap into the cosmetics and health products. The delegates shared the biotechnology enhanced Ginseng products as well as high end skin care cosmetics which they were interested to introduce in Pakistan with help and inputs from PBIT. These products were already being sold across the world and Punjab was a great place to launch these international quality product ranges.

The CEO PBIT, Dr. Habib ur Rehman Gilani, emphasized the potential of the ever growing retail sector and a large young urban population present in Punjab. He further suggested for KOPAK’s collaboration so that Korean tour operators come and visit Punjab and subsequently link up with TDCP to offer highly competitive packages of tourism in Punjab.
