Future builders of the Nation are on government priority:Iqbal Channer

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Prisons, Malik Muhammad Iqbal Chunnar, while addressing inaugural ceremony for issuing Green Cards to the students, has said that Punjab government is giving priority to the future builders of the nation at every level. He said that Punjab government has set a new history by providing concessional package to the students for travelling and education.

He said that students can easily perform their educational and extracurricular activities of 60 rupees monthly. He said that CNG buses have been plied in Bahawalpur and number of CNG buses would be education to the poor whereas 15 lakh students of 36 districts would be provided free education.

Muhammad Iqbal Channar informed that the government has distributed 60 thousand educational vouchers in 17 districts including Lahore whereas educational stipends of one billion rupees have been distributed among female students of far-flung areas upto matric level. He said that in order to raise the ratio of women in higher education, new women universities are being set up in Bahawlapur, Multan, Sialkot and Faisalabad.
