Khawaja Saad chairs the meeting on traffic issues

Lahore: On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister, Khawaja Saad Rafique presided over a special meeting to solve traffic problems near schools and colleges. Dr. Saeed Elahi, MPA Mian Nazeer Ahmed, Secretary Higher Education Dr. Ejaz Munir, Secretary Schools Aslam Kamboh, Commissioner and DCO Lahore and Chief Traffic Officer were also present on the occasion.

The meeting decided that besides government schools, private school owners would also be contacted for solving increasing problems of traffic near schools, and their proposals will be sought in this regard. The meeting also decided that illegal encroachments will also be removed near educational institutions for maintaining smooth flow of traffic.
