Lahore: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab, Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that Lahore Transport Company has started new air-conditioned bus service from Railway station to Tajpura Scheme on Route No. 18 which will provide best transport facilities to the people. The commuters will travel by paying Rs. 10 which is less than the approved fare.
He expressed these views on the occasion of inauguration of new bus service at Railway station, here today. Chief Executive Rana Travels PML-N MPA Rana Muhammad Arshad, General Manager (Communication and Marketing) Amjad Hussain, Deputy General Manager (Operation) Tanveer Siddiqui, Manager (Operation and Planning) Huma Daha, SSP Railways Dr. Shahzad and other officers were present on the occasion. Zaeem Hussain Qadri said that Pakistan Muslim League-N is forwarding the mission of public service under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He said that present government is utilizing all its energies for improving the living standard of the people. He said that Lahore Transport Company is becoming a source of providing best travelling facilities to the masses through reforms in urban transport system.
Chief Executive Rana Travels, Rana Muhammad Arshad said that 12 air-conditioned buses are being plied on this route in the first phase which will arrive Tajpura from Railway station via Boharwala Chowk, Railway Headquarters, Garhi Shahu Bazaar, Asif Center, Dharampura Bridge, Chobacha Bridge, post office, Mughalpura, Jafari Bridge, Lal Bridge, Maskeenpura, Punj Pir Darbar, New Bridge, Railway Crossing, Butt Chowk and Police Station Ghaziabad. He said that we have provided modern buses in accordance with the programme of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
Later, Zaeem Qadri, Rana Muhammad Arshad and LTC officers inaugurated the new bus service.
