Shahbaz Sharif urges UAE businessmen to invest in Punjab

Lahore:Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that a shared faith, similarity of cultures and close geographical proximity will open various windows of opportunities that can be utilized to take this special relationship to new heights. He asked the UAE based businessmen to consider Pakistan as a destination for their investment as well as explore opportunities for joint ventures and public private partnerships that offer tremendous opportunities.

He said this during an interview with UAE’s Top Arabic Daily Al Bayan. In the interview the Chief Minister paid rich tributes to the strategic partnership between UAE and Pakistan and expressed his confidence that both countries would continue to work together in enhancing the scope of their relationship based on the love and admiration shared between the people of both countries.

He further added, that the Chief Minister had himself chaired the first ever Pakistan UAE Business Investment Conference in Dubai last year which was held in collaboration with government of Punjab and Dubai Chamber of Commerce and the goodwill generated by this conference resulted in the expansion of business, trade and commerce activity between UAE and Pakistan.
