Ramzan Bazars become problem for provincial ministers

Lahore:Provincial Minister for Zakat and Ushr Malik Nadeem Kamran has said that flour, sugar and other necessary items are being provided in abundance at Ramazan Bazaars. He informed that, on the 10th of Ramazan as many as 162723 flour bags were sent to Ramazan Bazaars, out of which 107603 flour bags were sold.

The Minister was presiding a meeting held in connection with monitoring of Ramazan Bazaars at Tent Office here today which was attended by officers belonging to Industries, Food, Agriculture, Market Committee and district administration.

The meeting was informed that in Ramazan Bazaars, the price of potato remained Rs.21, onion Rs.23, lady finger Rs.28, bitter gourd Rs.19, gourd Rs.21, dates Rs.149, gram plus Rs.80, gram flour Rs.82 and rice Rs.87 while the banana was sold at Rs.89 per dozen.
