Lahore:A newly-constructed training block of Pakistan Civil Servants Academy has been dedicated to the name of A.Z.K.Sherdil. An inaugural ceremony was held here today in this connection, which was attended by Secretary Information and Culture Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani, Additional Secretary Interior, Khalid Sherdil and other senior and junior officers. Paying glowing tributes to the services rendered by A.Z.K Sherdil, different speakers pointed out that senior bureaucrats still consider it a matter of great pride and honour to follow in the footsteps of A.Z.K Sherdil, and the standards of national service established by him, besides formulating guiding principles for solution of people’s problems, still serve as a beacon of light for them. Speakers pointed out that A.Z.K Sherdil reflected courage, capability and honesty of character, and standards of national service set by him still serve as an unprecedented example for all officers of Pakistan to follow and cherish. They said that development work carried out during the era of A.Z.K Sherdil continue to be an integral part of country’s development history. Speakers stressed that, even today, all officers are continuing to serve the people in the country by following A.Z.K Sherdil’s footsteps, besides adopting his administrative strategy.
