Turkish delegation called on Punjab Chief

Lahore:Representatives of Turk Company Istac called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. Matters regarding generating energy through waste and Land Fill Facility in Mehmud Booti and Lakhoder were discussed during the meeting. Chairman Solid Waste Management Kh. Ahmad Hassaan and MD Solid Waste Management were also present on the occasion.

Talking to the representatives of Turk company, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that various projects are being executed in collaboration with Turkish companies in Punjab. He expressed his desire that the work on the project of Land Fill Facility should also be expedited and setting up of beautiful picnic spots at Mehmud Booti should also be considered. Expressing their views, the representatives of Turk company disclosed that they have also cancelled their annual leaves for starting work on the project of Land Fill Facility and are working on this project on priority basis. They said that Turk and Pakistani people are tied with deep friendly relations and such projects will further strengthen this friendship. They said that the entire world cooperated with Turki during the freedom war but they will never forget the help and assistance extended by the people of this region.
