Nawaz Sharif to make Grand Alliance before General Elections

Lahore:President Pakistan Muslim League-N, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that a grand alliance would come into existence before next general elections and those people will not be included in this alliance who are allies of present rulers and the clutches of an incapable and dishonest government.

He was addressing an inaugural ceremony of PML-N Central Secretariat, here today. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that this Secretariat will play the role of a think tank for the development of Pakistan. He said that by the grace of Almighty Allah he has an experienced and tested team which played an important role in changing the destiny of the country in the past and we also have a clear-cut strategy for its future. Nawaz Sharif said that we have an agenda and a team for the bright and save future of Pakistan. He said that we have such ideas which will change the economic condition of the country. He urged upon the youth not to be disappointed as Pakistan Muslim League-N guarantees their bright future. He disclosed that PML-N adopted important policies for the Overseas Pakistanis in the past and hoped that we will also give an excellent package to them. He said that there is a great potential inside and outside the country which will be utilized. Nawaz Sharif said that we will evolve such policies under which the expatriate Pakistanis will come to the country with confidence and serve the country through their wealth, experience and talent. Nawaz Sharif said that gigantic projects will be planned in this secretariat. He said that people cannot forget those faces which are allies of Asif Zardari and its government. He questioned whether they don’t know that present government has given worst loadshedding, corruption, terrorism, defamed the Supreme Court, missing persons and trampling the national sovereignty. He said that the allies are more responsible than the PPP of the present situation. How many Prime Ministers Asif Zardari will sacrifice for the protection of his wealth in Swiss banks received through kickbacks, Nawaz Sharif questioned. He said the main question before the nation is that when Asif Zardari himself will leave his office. Nawaz Sharif said that there is no difference between Pervaiz Musharraf and Asif Zardari with regard to dictatorial approach. He said that Asif Zardari within one year after general elections in February 2008, dissolved the Punjab government and imposed Governor’s Rule. Nawaz Sharif said that Asif Zardari got disqualified him from Dogar courts. Asif Zardari deviated written agreements for restoration of judiciary due to which he had to launch a long march to Islamabad with millions of people on March 15, 2009 whereas Asif Zardari has been resisting the restoration of judiciary. He said that there was a problem of restoration of judiciary in Musharraf era and now the independence of judiciary, its respect and implementation of its decisions. Nawaz Sharif announced that PML-N will not allow any plan or conspiracy of present rulers against independent judiciary to succeed.

Ahsan Iqbal acted as Stage Secretary. Senator Ishaq Dar, Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi, Noor ul Hassan Tanvir and Iftikahr But also addressed the function. Shahbaz Sharif, Mumtaz Bhutto, Mamnoon Hussain, Pir Sabir Shah, Raja Farooq Haider, Engr. Ameer Muqam, Sartaj Aziz, Ghulam Dastagir, Senator M. Hamza, Tariq Azeem, Anwar Baig, Marvi Memon, Anosha Rehman, Begum Ishrat Ashraf, Nuzhat Sadiq, Elahi Bukhs Somoro, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed, Senator Sardar Zulifqar Ali Khan Khosa, Pervaz Malik, Ayyaz Sadiq, Abdul Haq Baloch, Shaikh Qaiser, Abid Sher Ali and other important leaders attended the ceremony. Son of Maulana Shah Ahmed Noraani, Awais Noorani, Pir Ejaz Hashmi, Qari Zawar Bahadur also attended the inaugural ceremony.
