PPP Government have lost mandate :Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore:Pakistan Muslim League (N)’s central leader and Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that Peoples Party and federal government have lost mandate of the people, therefore, after disqualification of their prime minister, the government ought to proceed towards new elections. He said that those who mocked judicial decisions have become part of history and the decision of Supreme Court has proved the stance taken by Pakistan Muslim League (N) to be true.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif expressed these views while talking to media after the inaugural ceremony of the project of repair and extension of Aiwan-e-Sanat-o-Tijarat Road, which has been completed in a record period of two months at a cost of Rs.6 crore 75 lakh. Answering various questions of media representatives, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that, after the decision of disqualification of the Prime Minister, a new era of predominance of justice has begun in Pakistan and people have come to realize that everyone is equal before the law. He said the conspiracy hatched against judiciary has been exposed in time and people have become aware that no institution including politicians, media and judiciary is above accountability.

Commenting upon the current political situation, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that PML(N) has never been desirous of power and, instead, it wants to play the role of a strong and energetic opposition. He said that peaceful protest of the people against loadshedding is their right and had the government spent time on finding solution to loadshedding, instead of indulging in record corruption during the last over four years, it would not have been the target of peoples’ anger. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that PML(N)’s sympathies are with the loadshedding-affected people, due to which it is supporting the peaceful protest of the masses. He said any single individual’s departure will not affect the country, provided the institutions are strong.

Answering another question, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that important decisions are being taken in the ongoing meeting of Central Executive Council of PML(N) in Islamabad to review national political situation in detail.
