Lahore:Capital City Police Officer Aslam Tareen has vowed that no case of recent robberies at jeweler shops would remain untraced.
while meeting with traders group CCPO said that, with the help of Jeweler Association and close coordination of police, a foolproof security strategy would be formulated, so that no one committing robbery at any jeweler shop is left undetected and unapprehended.DIG Operations Rai Muhammad Tahir and DIG Investigation Malik Ali Aamir were also present on the occasion.
Aslam Tareen said that Quick Response Force is also being deployed for comprehensive security in the city, along with further activating local law and order committees. CCPO called upon jewelers to install high quality CCTV cameras, inside and outside their shops, so that the culprits can be traced effectively. He also appealed to the jewelers to keep forensic proofs of any untoward incident intact, so that the culprit can be detected speedily.
CCPO said that it is the need of the hour to depute guards at various important business centers and shops who have been duly verified by the local police, along with ensuring installation of CCTV cameras, which will go a long way in eliminating the criminal elements and making the provincial metropolis a bastion of law and order. Muhammad Aslam Tareen said the business community is the backbone of the society and provision of conducive atmosphere to the trading community for their business is highly essential for the progress and prosperity of the country.
Aslam Tareen said in order to bring law and order situation under control the business community will have to work in close liaison with the law-enforcing agencies. CCPO informed the business community that the officers and Jawans of Lahore Police have been directed to bring about a positive change in Thana culture, and keep their attitude towards the visiting citizens highly sympathetic and sincere.
