DCO concerned over the performance of the price control magistrates

Lahore:District Coordination Officer Lahore, Noor ul Amin Mengal has expressed the great concern over the performance of the price control magistrates and taken serious notice of the increasing complaints of public regarding over charging of essential items in the city.
DCO Lahore has termed the performance of price control magistrate as disappointing and absolutely poor and ordered them to discharge their duties pro actively to ensure the provision of essential items on fixed prices.
Noor ul Amin in his order said that it has been noticed that overcharging is being done in the city and public complaints are being increasing day by day which is not justified at any cost.
He said that neither over charging is acceptable nor citizens can be leftover on the mercy of profiteers.
DCO Lahore has taken serious notice of the complaints regarding over charging and ordered the all price control magistrates to take strict  action according to law against profiteers in their respective areas and to make ensure the provision of essential commodities at fixed prices on priority basis. He said that all magistrates should give top priority to this matter otherwise strict action will be taken again delinquents. He also directed the all assistant commissioners to look into the matter personally within their areas and monitor the overall process regularly.
