Commissioner takes notice of slow pace of construction

Lahore:Commissioner Lahore division Jawad Rafique Malik and DCO Lahore Noor-ul-Amin Mengal today visited Shahra-e-Aiwan-e-Tijarat and Allama Iqbal road and both officers have taken strict notice of slow pace of construction work at Allama Iqbal road and they expressed their displeasure on concerned officers and directed them to expedite the construction work of Allama Iqbal road and to put in extra effort by using more labourers. Commissioner Lahore division and DCO Lahore directed to NLC officers and EDO(Works & Services) to use all available resources for completion of Allama Iqbal road as early as possible and this project should be completed before starting of monsoon season at every cost. Commissioner Lahore division and DCO Lahore said that Allama Iqbal road is under construction since long time and citizens and passerby of this road are facing problems. They said that no further delay would be tolerated for the completion of Allama Iqbal road and concerned departments should work with more dedication and mutual coordination and all concerned departments should also make ensure the quality of material. Earlier, Commissioner Lahore division and DCO Lahore visited Shahra-e-Aiwan-e-Tijarat and inspected the construction works. They inspected carpeting of road and directed to concerned officers to complete work as soon as possible. They expressed their satisfaction over the quality of construction material. CDGL officers were also with them on these visits.
